The new LVCM-051-032-06 Linear Voice Coil Motor (also called a
Moving Coil Motor) has been designed with a larger radial air gap to tolerate
the tilting and misalignment that can be experienced when clamping out of
parallel objects or moving off-center loads.
This compact linear
motor is 50.8 mm (2.000 in.) in diameter with a 31.7 mm (1.250 in.) long housing
and at mid stroke it is just 46 mm (1.81 in.). Peak
force is 40.8 N (9.2 lb.) at a 10% duty cycle and continuous force is 12.9 N
(2.9 lb.). Features of this low inertia, high acceleration /
deceleration, clean, quiet, efficient, zero cogging, brushless DC servo motor
makes it ideal for: Sorting, packaging, sampling, work holding and clamping,
laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, and medical and
pharmaceutical applications.
The made in America LVCM-051-032-06
features very high accuracy and repeatability when operated as a
DC Servo Motor in a closed servo loop. This linear motor features
two 10-32 UNC-2B threaded mounting holes in the housing and two 10-32 UNC-2B
threaded mounting holes in the coil end on 25.4 mm (1.000 in.) bolt circles for
easy integration into new and existing applications. |
